We would like to wish all our guests, both past and future, a very Happy Festive Season.

I’ve been busy clearing ivy away from the ancient dog kennel and am really appreciating the beauty of the ruscus aculeatus which is growing at the base of the wall. It really is a wonderful winter plant.

Needless to say we watched the programme following Rick Stein travelling through France and the Dordogne. It certainly showed why we love living here and the wonderful places to visit as well as the cuisine to savour.
