Yesterday we took ourselves off to visit the Jardin d’eau. This is a lovely water garden with two different styles of garden. The first consists of walkways across the pools filled with different water lilies and lotus plants. The second is a stroll around a natural pond that showcases bog plants as well as lilies.
As we near the end of summer the Lespedeza begins to come into its own. The flowered fronds waft gently in the breeze and shine out in the sunshine.
